Foundation course allowing admission into Med
Hey guys,
Is there any1 out ther who could provide me a list of unis who would allow a successful completion of Bradford Clinical Sci Foundation for admission into year 1 of a 5 yr Med course?
Leeds certainly seem to and this is the transfer that is promoted by the unis of Leeds and Bradford.
Just wondering if any other unis give this option.

Isn't the Leeds-Bradford scheme a partnership thing? I didn't think you could apply anywhere else unless you decided to complete the whole 3yrs of the clinical sciences BSc and then apply as a grad. But i may well be wrong.
ANYTHING WRITTEN BY ME ON THIS SITE DOES NOT REPRESENT THE VIEWS OF SOUTHAMPTON UNIVERSITY!

as i have said before you can try to TRANSFER to leeds or you can apply through UCAS to other unis but only if you had the grades to begin with on from the foundation year. from the one's i wrote to:
Sheffield.....said no in their letter but gave me a conditional place on the 5 year
HYMS....yes, if you get 75% or more http://www.hyms.ac.uk/admissions/FAQs.asp
Newcastle....no
Nottingham.....no
Manchester....no, apply for 6 year course
Liverpool.....no
Leicester.....no
Peninsula....only require one science
you can't apply from the 1st year as Clarkey said as you'll have already started a full 3 year degree.Sheffield Medicine 2006!!!!
