BMAT results
Hi, i got my BMAT results today and i was wondering whether it would be worth forwarding them to the universities that im applying to that did not specifically ask for them. I was thinking this particularly as im applying to Southampton and they do not interview so the BMAT results might help? Any advice/ insight would be appreciated.

Keep the BMAT scores between yourself and the universities that asked for them.

BMAT results
I must say i have been watching wtih despair as people have lamented their BMAT scores, whilst others have said ooh i did pretty well... in the end, BMAT is not the be all and end all of medical school entry, it is a factor, certainly, but when it comes down to it, the main ingredient of a successful application is a successful interview...and the criteria for getting an interview spread from personal statement to application strength, to gcse grades....
So everyone cheer up!
I got 8.7, 8.5 and 13.5 by the way... so i guess i have a reason to be happy? don't worry tho, i'm sure we'll all get into med skl and have a hell of a time.
(well done to the person who got 31.7... if u actually did that is)

I mean, obviously all of u wont get into oxford like me and the guy who got 31.7...but that's life, not everyone can be at the top, that's the point of a meritocracy eh? (a meritocracy is a society wich bases its reward and status on the merits of the individual in the society, ie 'the better person does better)
love u all tho

WOW surgeon those marks are great! its true what youre sayin tho, i mean getting 33 on the bmat is by no means a guarantee of a place. It all depends on how well you do at interview.
BTW Messiah,
The universities that do not require the BMAT are going to know that you sat it anyway, as it is entered into the qualifications section. If i get rejected from any ill flash my bmat in their face....
barts : "We dont think you will fit into Mile End."
me : "Well, thank you for your time. I wouldve loved to come to this fine teaching establishment of great repute and standing. By the way i got 19 on the bmat so you can suck the proverbial......"Applied to start medicine in '06 @:
ABB offer from Imperial. Hmm.... just maybe, possibly might go there (sarcasm)
UCL still pending.

lol dont worry messiah i was joking, i dont really have that high an opinion of myself! the BMAT is an astonshingly hard test designed to try and differentitate between the creme de la creme, and any mark in doulbe figures shows ur clever to be honest.
The comment about oxford was sarcasm, i dont think i have a hope in hell of getting into oxford, but it is nice to know that u can endorse my views!

yup its now put into qualls as a "pending".
Crazy surgeon, youre a tiny bit arrogant, but i suppose that huge bmat score kinda overrides it lol!
Dude there are only two people i know who can get away with arrogance like that. The first is Ronaldinho (exceptionally fine set of teeth) and the second is Mourinho...Applied to start medicine in '06 @:
