@people who went to the meet and greet - did they mention anything about being full to capacity yet? Still trying to judge whether or not it's worth a phone call!

Hi sa119.....they didn't mention anything...the day was pretty much run by the Med Soc so was very informal. Might be worth a phone call just to test the water? I'm still hoping for you to get in x x x

Thanks, Tiki. I've only called Jane a couple of times over the course of this application cycle but I think she recognises me now! Don't want to be seen as a pest but getting incredibly desolate about things now

Phoning a couple of times is VERY restrained I reckon...I'd have lost it a long time ago if I were in your position. I'm sure Jane will understand your reasons for calling...it's harsh to keep you hanging on in limbo. I hope you manage to get some answers soon x x

@sa119 I have just spoken to Jane to ask whether all places have now been taken. She said there were a few declines last week so there will be some offers sent out at the end of this week from the reserve list. So its not over yet... but very soon to be by the looks of things!! Good luck to those all still holding on for good news

Thanks for that, Louise1987. I've just spoken to Jane, too. She said there are about 6 more offers to go out by the end of the week, hopefully. She also said the size of the waiting list has been significantly reduced as people have withdrawn for one reason or another. Other than that, we still have to wait to see if those with conditional offers meet the entry requirements. So, it could still be a long old wait! Fingers crossed, everyone

Thanks for ringing you two, that's good news, I thought there would only be one or two places left at this stage, so 6 more offers sounds good! Still a glimmer of hope...

Wouldn't it be great if there were so few people on the waiting list now (maybe 10 or less) that they decided to make everyone an offer? lol
