2010 Interviews....

Ok, so I spoke to Claire this morning and she said end of March/Early April, anywhere in those two weeks. I guess we'll just have to keep waiting!

How rubbish is this...looks like more waiting, fingers crossed that it won't feel too long

omg I know right. As of today Swansea is my last chance for 2010, and given my horrendous interview performance it's only a matter of time before I add a fourth "unsuccessful" to my UCAS Track hoarde. I had been relatively chilled about it all but knowing I'm now in Last Chance Saloon has increased the panic levels tenfold.

It couldn't have gone that bad could it? I mean, I think we all wish we said (or in some cases didn't say) certain things at interview, but it doesn't rule anything out just yet. 1 in 3 chance is pretty good odds.

I really want Swansea too, it's my first choice...the waiting is driving me crazy though...hope the next 3 weeks will fly by

Does the access to medicine course guarantee you a place on a medicine course at the end? Congratulations on getting that place anyway!

Thanks. Not really, it runs a linked place scheme with UEA, but they only run a 5 year course and only take on 10 people out of 70 each year. Around 80% of people who do it get into med straight away though, so if I worked hard and made sensible choices I should be ok.

I'm just waiting to log on here and find somebody saying 'I got an offer!' and then the nerves will REALLY kick in!

They interviewed 260 people this year for 70 places, so it's just under 1 in 3 chance...hope that helps
