Oh so close to getting a place this year but just not close enough!

I'm Lucy Beeks, didn't make it in this year but i'm even more eager (and prepared) to get in this for 2010!

Hello to everyone who will be applying...good luck with the GAMSAT I'm resitting it to try and up my grade!! here's a thread to share the pain of what will be a long wait......

Like yourself I was on the interview reserve list! It was abit frustrating!!
Definately applying for Swansea as well for 2010.
Have you done your UKCAT yet?
I'm resitting the GAMSAT too. Revision is crazy at the moment!!!Need a break!!!
I went to UWE as well. I studied Forensic Science!!Loved it!!

frustrating but at least it was good practice, and as a 1st time applicant i thought i had no hope so getting reserve list was great....but yes would have preferred to get in this sept! haven't redone the ukcat yet, i've been a bit behind with looking at dates etc so not sure if i can still resit it but i think u can do them anytime. are u doing GAMSAT in bristol? if you're still around these parts let me know if you want a few revision cramming sessions before the big day. where else are u applying? xxx

Unfortunately I'm up in London now so will be taking it there. Good luck though on the day.
Have you started revision?
I'm applying to Nottingham, Swansea and I can't decide on the other two. I'm thinking Hull now as they seem quite good and they take the UKCAT but you have to have enough chemistry and biology. Also St Georges as they look good as well. Too many decisions I was thinking Warwick but I don't think my UKCAT score is high enough!!

I'm also thinking of applying to swansea this year. Does anyone know what the cut of score is (generally) on the gamsat for them? Also do good GCSE/A-levels (A*/A) matter to them?

hi all! well applications are now in! how's everyone finding the wait for gamsat results?? i really hope i did better than last yr! i hope we know if we've got interviews before xmas again this yr. claire who was admissions tutor last year was great at letting us know!! there is a new admissions tutor this year, have forgotten her name though! good luck everyone and keep posting on here, there will be lots who have aplied for 2010 and they are nowhere to be seen on the thread!! so show yourselves people and say hi! x

I hope the cut off is like that this year!!
The Gamsat I found horrible!! Section I was interesting but you can't really revise for that. Section II was ok I suppose and Section III was quite hard!!
I hope we hear before xmas too. It would be a great xmas present
