Hi,
I have been a student at Swansea for the past four years. I own my house, it is in Llanelli. I have applied to study medicine in Britain but have been fortunate to have found a place in Sweden. Therefore I have a fantastic family home to rent to mature, responsible students. I know Swansea medics are reliable and so offer my house for rent.
It takes me about 20 minutes to drive into Swansea and £1.50 to park each day. There are however heaps of students who travel in from Llanelli each day so I have always found lift sharing partners relatively easily.
There is a good regular bus service and train service between llanelli and Swansea for anyone who doesn't drive or prefers to relax on their way in and out of uni.
My house will be available as soon as anyone wants it as I am moving to Sweden ASAP. The rent is alot more reasonable than Swansea prices and being a family home it is in a safe and quiet location for those of you not wanting to be in the middle of freshers land in Swansea.
Anyone interested please email me charliesmith2112@aol.com and I'll do my best to help. I have recently had a new kitchen and a new bathroom. There are three good sized bedrooms, two double one single and the loft is converted to a 'play room' but would be great for storage.
Children and pets are welcome too.
The house would be available for rent for your total time at Swansea so no need to think of having to move each year. It is in a great location for all Swansea hospitals, Llanelli hospital and West Wales General in Carmarthen. Withybush in Haverfordwest is only an hour from here, so is Cardiff. The house is perfectly placed for all placements in South and West Wales, which is why I bought it.
Hope to hear from someone soon.

Whatever you do DON'T do the university family accommodation in Beck House. That was the worse year of our life!

This must be a matter of perspective. Given that Swansea is a city the bus service must be the worst in Europe. Buses are sporadic, often late, and very expensive compared to other UK cities, I tried buses for a while but even my 1.5 mile journey unto uni would take up to 45 minutes, was unreliable, and almost broke the bank.
You will defo need a car at Swansea!FREE EMQ EXAM PRACTICE
