Had my interview today, and they said that there (maybe roughly) are 70 places. The GAMSAT contributes 20% to the overall score you get after interview etc. However there isn't a cut off point like with other uni's, and a good interview can compensate for a poorer GAMSAT result.
Can't remember when GAMSAT results came out but last year the first round of offers was made about 25th of March. I think about 60 offers were initially made and then the rest a few weeks later with the total number of offers being about 90. I think it is dependent on how many people accept or decline offers from the first round straight away. I assume that the system will be pretty much the same this year but they'll be able to explain more when you come for interview.
There were also a few offers made at quite a late stage this year, two a matter of days before the course started, due to more funding becoming available or people declining places.
Hi everyone in the support group.
I'm going to apply for 2011. Not sure where yet, since my gf is waiting for offers to study somewhere. I'll apply to places that fit in with that.
