    Swansea GEP & Degree Details

Received a letter this morning form Swansea - thought it was a rejection slip as it was far too slim for anyhting else. Luckily it was a letter asking for further details of my degree. I had put fairly limited amount of info. on the UCAS form - just title and degree class, but Swansea have asked for a transcript of my results. Anybody else experienced this. I'm also wondering whether I should forward the transcript to my other application choices....anybody??

its best to wait until they ask for you to send anything as some unis often dont like additional info being sent...

What was your degree in? Swansea have a requirement that you have Bio/Chem at AS-level or above, so I'm guessing that you don't have that and they're trying to verify that the components of your uni course are suitable.

well thanks for the pessimism  .

Actually my degree was in English Literature but my A-Levels are in Biology, Chemistry, Physics and English at grade AAAB, so I can't see that that is an issue

Sorry, was just trying to make sense of them asking for a transcript. I've no idea at all then!

I've just been phoned by rachel webb at swansea. She wanted contact details of my tutors for both my degree courses. Its so they can get a predicted grade. Need clean pants now!

Not heard anything yet but did bump into one of the clin school directors who told me that they have only just started to wade through applications (admissions staff not been in post long), so might not be bad news for those of us who are still waiting (here's hoping)...
