    Paediactric surgery?

Say you specialised in paediactric surgery, are you then able to specialise further? ie into cardio, orthopaedics etc?

    (just wondering )

No. Paediatric surgery is it's own speciality, you may specialise within it but you would not cross over into another specialty. So cardiothoracic surgeons may subspecialise in paediatric cardiothoracics, orthopaedic surgeons may subspecialise in paediatric orthopaedics etc.
