MMI etiquette
Hi. I have an interview at SGUL in early January and am preparing for it now. I also interviewed there last year and one of the things that really threw me at the start of each MMI station was whether or not to introduce myself. It sounds silly, and of course the interviewers knew who I was (with the name badge and the set order), and although it seems just manners to me to briefly shake hands and say hello this did not really sit well in the environment. Any thoughts appreciated. Thanks.

No, just a brief hello and take your seat with a view to starting ASAP.

Thanks for the reply, ceih. That makes sense - more time to answer.

Just say Hello. When I was an interviewer for this the key etiquette faux-pas were to be:
a. Rude;
b. Arrogant;
c. A know-it-all.
None of which went down well, to say the least.
Also trying to answer the question posed rather than twisting it to the answer you want to give
is quite a good plan.Live the dream!

What about the roleplay stations? Do you say hello and then wait to start or does acting begin as you walk through the door?
