St George's Graduate Entry 2012

I still havent received any email after the standard please wait email that was sent to everyone. Seeing how people got their replies in early march, I feel as if something is definitely odd that I havent received any offer/rejection yet. UCAS hasnt updated for St. Georges in 2012. Should I email Micki Regan? Not sure what to do or whether I should wait a while.

I found out on monday. Bad news for me (as expected)

Didnt receive any email or track update, even though I periodically check my junk folder. But yeah, big fluke in the end.

Roll on 2013 app cycle...

im presuming you have a guaranteed place for 2013? If so, congratulations. Having a year free sounds great. Good luck with the waiting list

They said a guaranteed place, but I could get a call very close to the start date and i have to take it or i lose my place. I'm happy I'm in but a little anxious I'll get little notice to upsticks and move.

ahh i see. with an ultimatum like that I can understand how anxious of a position it must be. Nothing else to do but to remain prepared and vigilant until the start of september. there's always a light at the end of the tunnel though, stay strong and remember you are so close to getting into medicine. plus, many would kill (figuratively) to be in your position!

yes, I applied to Nottingham too. I prefered the way sgul did their MMI compared to Nottingham, much smoother. This is my first ever set of interviews for medicine (didn't do any before university) so I can only improve next time, coupled with a stronger application. a year is a very long time either way, just hope I stay as focused as I am now come christmas 2012.

trawling through the forums Ive read so many success stories, it's truly inspiring. wish I found this forum much earlier than I did.
