Yeah I've had a look at it. (For anyone who hasn't - linky - http://www.sgul.ac.uk/undergraduate/...nce-scores.pdf)
I'm not sure what my score is (guessing a 4) as I have 4 weeks shadowing doctors on wards and 5 months ongoing full time as a mental health support worker plus a few weeks extra voluntary work.
Giving us the scoring for this and for nothing else (eg performance in MMIs, academic requirements/score in GAMSAT etc) means it's quite difficult to gauge how they weight this aspect against others...

I read it (and I may have read it wrong) that the WorkEx score is part of the overall MMI interview score, rather than it being a different component...
I'm pretty sure that GAMSAT is now only going to be used to differentiate between candidates with the same score at MMI interview, I think there's something to this effect in the stuff they sent out? I understand it as you'll be graded overall for the MMI performance, that'll include the WorkEx grade, and this is what determines if you make it... or not....!Med student, year 1 of 4
