Do/did you wear a suit to the interview?

I'm assuming that I should come in a suit and tie to the SGUL interview, but I'm note exactly sure. Are you supposed to?

    Definately!

A suit and tie IMO is default, anything else may look negative and show through the interview.

ok yeah that makes sense. just wanted to make sure since I'm coming all the way from Canada and I don't want to screw things up...

Also, can anyone tell me if it's the sort of interview where you shake hands with everyone at the start and sit on the other side of a large table? Or the kind where they call you in and start the clock? Because I think I saw in some forum that for interviews at a particular uni (can't remember which), it really isn't expected that you introduce yourself formally like that as they just start right off the bat.

    Def. suited me thinks!

In mine there was a big table with three people on the other side...
there was a sort of introduction so I just went for the shaking hands thing as its a polite thing to do and I figured it shouldnt count against me! No idea if it was expected. I also shook hands at the end although I'm not sure they were planning on doing that then! lol

big journey to come over from Canada
hope it all goes well for you
