GEP Ratio of Interviews to Offers.

Just wondered if anyone knows how many offers they make for the number of people they interview. Looking for some kind of idea as to how much chance I stand, before I go in (although I havn't actually received a letter from St George's!!).

The year before last, I estimated one place for every 2.5 interviews.

The odds are even better than this because most people use SGUL as a backup. This is very good odds for a structured interview and almost guarantees you a place if you prepare properly.

Yeah its about 2.5 people per offer. I understand that they make very few extra offers (its not like the 5 years where nearly twice as many offers are made for every place).

Several years ago, they made too many offers, which put them in a bit of a quandary. In my year, quite a few people got in from the waiting list, so the number not taking up their offers is significant.

Admissions told me that last year 116 offers were made for the 98 places.

The admissions officer said that 1 in 3 students who are interviewed will get an offer...
