    Out of the blue phone call

    I got a completely unexpected phone call today from St Georges. I applied to them for 2008 entry and was rejected post interview, I thought that was going to be that and was busy preparing for another bash at applying this year.

    This phone call however changed all that. The admissions officer has put me on the 2008 waiting list, I am position number 9, she said I would be very unlikely to be enter the course in 2008 but that if I don't I have a guaranteed place for 2009! I really am finding it hard to believe, I thought once you were rejected for that year it was over completely, 100% rejection...

    Does this kind thing happen all that often?

    I am so elated, I was physically shaking with happiness after the phone call, my boss at work thought I had gone crazy.

    So to all those who got 4 rejections take this as a tiny glimmer of hope, to all those at St Georges I will be seeing you some time in the not too distant future!

    Thanks to all those who answered my questions, or sent me PM's with advice it all helped!

    Congratulations! That is absolutely fabulous news! I don't know how common it is (I've never heard of it, but I can't say I'm particularly knowledgable).

    lol yeah I will now,

    Oh and my GAMSAT results were not that great really, I thought they were average at best:

    Section I: 60
    Section II: 62
    Section III:57

    Overall: 59
