Not panicked, just interested.....

Wonder if anyone has heard anymore about their application to the Foundation programme yet?

It is likely to be ages before you hear. I applied for this last year and we didn't have our interviews until the last week of April, as they had to have the decisions back to ucas by the 1st May.

Good luck with your application.

update on this now. My friend has just informed me she has an interview on the 25th March. So if you don't hear anything then call them. St Georges also tends to inform you by email first, well they did with us last year, but then they send you info in the post with what they will expect and practise questions and forms.

Know your personal statement inside out. They focussed in depth questions on very minor parts of my application, so think of major questions on the minor parts of your personal statement. It also goes on scoring, so if you meet their interview requirements, regardless of the no. of places they will still accept you if you are over this score. Good luck hunny. I hope you have better luck than I did.

I will be keeping my fingers crossed for you.

Hey everyone,

Pleased to have found a thread for this. Eli05, what are you doing at college just now, is it those all important post-16 qualifications?

Are we all over 21, or is there some flexibility on that?

Thanks,

Hi doormat, Im studying access to medicine at lambeth college, and everyone who has been offered an interveiw for the foundation course is over 21, I'm 21 too. I don't think there is any flexibility on that, as its a specific age requirment listed by Georges. The foundation course is to offer mature students with sufficient work experience (in any field) the oppurtunity to study medicine.
