£2 up there on Oyster, £1 bus fare, sometimes x2 back... £3/£4 maximum. I don't know anyone who's been out in central and taken a tube back, unless they're really boring.

Why the hell would you get a bus?? I hate buses... Personal opinion time, so please disregard if you don't want to hear a rant. Buses are slow, they get stuck in traffic especially in SW London AND they are full of noisy, rowdy 14-year olds who get free travel, take up too much space and play their annoying music from their phones on loudspeaker! I should know, I used to do it... except without the mobile phone (replace with foghorn for a voice) and without the free travel because it didn't exist...

And you are the ONLY person, Chris, I know to not get the train back after going into central. However, I am the only person who walks there for fun, so maybe we're equal on oddness...

I'm talking about a night out my dear - when the tube shuts down at 12.00 and the only way back from central is a nightbus!

Ahhhh...

Oh, in that case you may as well walk.

Tooting Broadway to Euston before I got tired yesterday - hurrah!

You, Perkin, are the definition of the word 'prat'.

We love you dearly despite this of course.

P.S. for any future students, Sarah and I are allowed to insult one another - if anyone else tries it, you may find you will be punished during freshers with a consistent headache... Love you lots!

Yeah the year groups are small compared to some unis in London, its to be expected as its a small uni, however I still find people I dont know in my year!

A bit off topic but I was walking the dog in Fairlight yesterday.

I think officially speaking we have 5000 registered students? Something like that anyway - although there's about 500 PhD students and lots of odd little courses where you never see the people on them...

5000 is including all our part-time, full-time, sandwich, distance-learners, joint with Kingston, etc etc. Onsite we have far FAR less!!

You will think you know all of your year (I did!) and then you get to clinical years and realise you have never seen half of them before in your life, and that's not even including the people who have dropped into your year after a BSc! Apparently more people don't bother with lectures than I thought...!
