    No nooo everyone gets those!
Carefully fill out the CRB form, black ink, no gaps in post codes or phone numbers. The booklet shows you which sections you are to fill in! Dont do anything before reading the booklet, i did and i had to order another CRB form from them!

And congrats for the interview, mines on the 1st of March!

St Georges is my only hope tooo!

    Wishing u loads of luckkkkkkkkkkkkk!

Thanx Sadia. yea- its good that they gave us details on how to fill up the CRB form 'correctly'- and i'll follow the rules!! Good luck to you too!! hows your preparation going? lol- i dont even know how they interview students- do they follow the same structure as kings?- ie- a questionnaire, followed by questions on PS, work experience and an ethical case study?

The format of my interview was questions based mainly on my PS- but a bit about other stuff too- nothing too tricky- and no case study!

Just make sure you know your personal statement well, and can talk a bit about it. Also, make sure you know about the course etc. Listen to the news and try and pick up on any current medical stories that you can talk about.

Don't be over-prepared and just be your self! Good Luck!

As Kate said, St Georges dont ask about any case studies! So you can relax about the whole ethical questions! hehe!
Just review ur p/s - ask someone to read it - and ask u questions that come in their mind...

I find that getting as many ppl to ask you questions - like having a little interview - student role playing dialoges helps broadens the students awareness of just how many different ways there are of asking the same question!

So from that you can form generic answers that could be applied to many questions! less work!

Preparing for interview ive learned is all about slicing questions and forming the foundation of the answer that then we u can build with sort of ur own experiences etc..

    Does that help?

Interms how im preparing - im being all techi - and forming powerpoint slides hehe!

well- good thing is ive had two interviews so far- only one of them being for medicine(cambridge)....so i really know the feeling of being in an interview. hmm- seems like i have to bug my friends once again to serve as interviewers!! hehe. i will have my biology teacher to help me out in my preparation as well!
ohhh sadia!! could we plsss stick with MS word?? lol- jus kidding! for my cambridge interview, ive actually made a file filled with informative sciency bits- plus some question and answers....just have to update that now- although its only been 3 months since the cam interview.
about current medical topics- are the interviewers gonna throw a topic towards me? or will i have the option to discuss about a topic ive heard/known about?

I have no idea about whether you will get a current topic.. or whether they would want you to enlighten one to them...

But it seems like u are certainly well prepared!
A full page on sciency notes? woah!
I dont think youve got anything to worry about, youve got experience so im sure you will do well!

    gud luck!

it's just like a french oral really (except its more "ou est l'hopital?" than "ou est la poste?")

Seriously, just get the enthusiasm across, plug your hobbies, plug your work experience, give them a funny story, just relax and let it flow.
