st georges interviews

Hi there guys, this is gonna be the first post that i am writing so i am quiet curious as to how this thing works......just have a question for any1 out there who may be able to answer it.... i read in the st geo prospectus that if you get 416 or more points at GCSE over 8 subjects and have been predicted aab/b in ur a levels then you are guaranted an interview....does any1 no if this is reli true and has any1 who got these results had an interview from them yet as i am still waiting to hear from the unis and are going mad with all thw waiting!!!! SO PLS PLS HELP!!

yes this was true, however a uni reserves the right to change the admissions procedure as they feel appropraite (its in the small print). they probably might have too if they feel they are inundated, byt tbh, there is nothing you or i can do shilpa but wait. dont worry-hopefully georges will give yer a interview, so just chill.

Oh Ok Cause I Called Them Up Today And She Said That If You Meet Those Requirements Then You Will Be Offered An Interview.....fingers Crossed That Ill Get One Sumwhere!! Did You Get You Interview Letter Through The Post Or Did U See It On Track?

Oh Right Well Hopefully Ill Be Getting One Of Those In The Post Soon!! I Got A Rejection From Kings Yesterday W/o An Interview Which Is Soo Annoying And Now I Only Have 3 Choiced Left.... St Geo...rf&ucms And Queen Marys And Barts....do U No Anything About Any Of These Uni Admissions Procedures

go to those unis boards if u wanna kno about them... i meet all their requirements but i havent had any interviews yet.. im fearin a sudden small print change resultin in a rejection.. :\

Hey, i dont want to case panic among you but i know someone who had all the things stated in the prospectus and was rejected without interview. But a letter i received from the uni also suggests that they dont always interview all those that get the things in the prospectus as the letter said last year they received about 1,750 applicantions, and they interviewed 750. But surely 1000 people who didnt already have the credentials stated in the prospectus would apply? If that makes any sense? But there is still plenty of time to be called for an interview so dont worry.

lol..well uv caused a minor panic here!! heads will roll if i dont get an interview! lol! i even emailed them... asking them to clarify their admissions procedure before id even chosen st georges as an option.. cos i wasnt sure if id understood the criteria right.. so i emailed them..tellin them my situation(grades etc).. and they replied to me in an email that "you would be called for interview by us". does this person u kno have ne extenuating circumstances of ne kind to explain this? did he resit or something?

hey surfer_supastar u have an interview on the same day as me! what times ur interview?
im SO nervous about it! and loadsa people have been gettin offers, gettin worrried that they are gonna have very few left and so its gonna be even harder to get one!!
