applying for sept 2007 entry
Hi all
I am applying this year for 2007 entry and desperately want to do the GEP at St Georges. Any tips for the gamsat and ucas form? I am a graduate with a 2,1. I am also 30 years old with 2 preschool aged children!!!
I really like the look of the GEP at SGHMS but the gamsat sounds really tough.

I have a GEP place for Sept at SGUL (new name!!) and also have a young family.

Have you been on an Open Day? I found that very useful.
Look on GAMSAT threads - lots of sound advice there. The level of prep you will need depends on your background, but there are many non-scientists who pick up enough by self studying to get through Section 3. The ACER papers will give you a general idea. The hardest thing is managing the time pressure on the day.
SGUL don't use UCAS form to select for interview, only GAMSAT score.
PM me if I can be of more help.
Good luck!

thanks for the advice. I have arranged work experience in a hospital once a week starting soon and also 2 days in a GP practice. I've also lots of experience with children with disabilities over my working years.
