st georges accomodation
I just wanted to know if the accomodation is mixed sex or not.It's just that the uni gave really little if not none on what the accomodation is like?From the sounds of how horrible it is I almost regret putting it down as a choice.
ps. Private accomodation isn't a choice either.

Do you mean Grove? I think it's still mixed sex on one floor, girls on one floor and blokes on one floor - I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong as I don't actually live there.
There's so much more to George's than the accomodation - I don't know a soul who regrets going there for that reason (doctors and students)Last edited by claudia; 15-08-2005 at 11:11 PM.

seriously guys, halls isn't that bad! its about the people you're with anyway, there's no point in dismissing it just because the location isn't ideal, the rooms are small and you have to share a kitchen and bathroom with 8 others... sarcasm aside, i really loved my year in halls!
you have a 3 floor 'house' - bottom floor is boys, middle floor is mixed, and top floor is usually girls too (it was in my place).
after 1st year most people move into houses/ flats.4th years are expected to know things *sigh* How depressing...

Sometimes there are two floors girls and one floor boys or vice versa.
Halls isn't that bad - I've lived there three years in a row for various reasons which I won't bore you with now!
Halls is where you make your friends - for life in many cases! You will regret not going!

Argh! Does that mean that if I live out I’ll be friendless?!? (Obviously I know personality may have an effect on the outcome of this question
)
