I do think however that it is important to be well prepared for the "Type" of questions that they may ask you. What medical schools tend to forget in the ruthless pursuit of the perfect candidate is that we are all in the same boat and would do the little we could to help each other.
Except when you have the intention of helping but is in fact jeapodising the chances of many before? So wouldn't it be unethical to harm the many for the benefit of the few?

What about people who go on courses to help with GAMSAT they will have a clear advantage over people who do not go on the courses. People always want to know what they are in for. Getting an idea of the kind of questions asked I dont think is cheating. Its ST Georges fault for not asking different questions. I mean if you get one interview one year at St Georges and you are rejected and then you reapply there again and you get the same questions you will clearly have better answers. What do you do in cases like that?

    Hi

I am assuming that the questions asked in the interview are there to asses the characteristics of the individual. If the individual is regurgitating, rather then answer the questions honestly, the possibility of the individuals scoring high on the interview sheet is low?

The individual should, honestly, reflect within him/her-self, about the issues and reasons why the individual he/she is applying.

Giving interview questions to that years interview will, i am assuming, cause complications in the interview process. Also note that some people are very good actors.

But i do also think that helping other people about what issues to think about is good.

P.S. Please correct me if i am wrong

There is only one problem I see with sharing interview questions... If I was the first person to have an interview and I shared the questions with other people - who may be asked the same questions, then I would be giving them an unfair advantage over me. If I had to think on my feet, to answer the questions to the best of my ability and then someone came along and knew what questions were going to be asked, then they could think of better answers and stand a better chance of getting in. No offence, but medicine is highly competitive enough, and it would be better if we all got in, from our own merits, not by knowing inside information. Am I wrong?

All places ask the usual standard stuff. At George's a lot of the questions are based on your personal statement. Just think about what questions you would ask someone if you were sitting on the interview panel!
