thats not the question you should be asking. but rather: what is the difference between asking a highly qualified doctor in real life whom i see every day rather than some dudes on the internet who claim to be doctors/medical applicants. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure most people on here are helpful highly qualified doctors.

Ronaldo - lol; it has been explained on this thread what a professor and an honorary prof are. Both are academic titles, linked to unis.

The former often means one is an honorary consultant, whilst the latter means one is a consultant and honorary prof.

Former is generally for career track consultants who do research whilst latter is for academic track doctors who concentrate of academic and uni work whilst maintaining a consultant level practice at an associated trust to the uni, hence honorary.
