Why is it that MBBS4 don't have an interview?

I believe the standard practice is that Soton interview all international (incl. EU) candidates for both MBBS4 and MBBS5 and all mature non-graduate applicants to the MBBS5 (I think this applies to MBBS6 as well).
They don't interview standard graduates or school-leavers. No idea why they take this approach though.Warwick (GEP) 2012 entry.
