    I'm out

It's not the end of the world for me as I have offers from Manchester and Newcastle 5yr. The big problem now will be having to live like a monk to save money and deciding if I want to go pbl or lbl. I said pbl all along, but the changes going on at Manchester and the low satisfaction scores have me worried.

    Congrats on the offers.

Gosh I wish I was in your position, I hate the not knowing. Plus, I can't wait to hand in my notice at work. *sigh*

Can I make one suggestion - why not apply to Newcastle - they defo offer an interview PURELY on the UKCAT score (not like Kings who make out they do but then actually look at the whole application). If you can repeat this year's UKCAT you'd be a shoe-in for an interview.
    2010 Entry:
Newcastle GEP - one year down, three to go!

    UKCAT - 692.5 average
    Degree: 1st in Biomedical Science

I just got my rejection letter and have to admit I'm a little irritated by it.

It is the usual generic spiel about how competitive it is and how few places there are and that it is not possible to provide specific feedback on how we scored your application.

That was all expected, but then I read the numbers and realised they were quoting the 5yr course and not the 4 year course, you would think they could at least be bothered to send me the right rejection letter after making me wait so long!
