Congrats! I have mine the same day, so I'll see you there! What are your academics? I'm from the D.C. area (Springfield, VA), but live in FL due to schooling. Congrats again!

FL Medicine20, Thank you! You too! I don't know if I will be able to attend that date because I wanted my mom or dad to come with me. I had a B.A. and majored in biology. Hope that I can reschedule or something.

    FLMedicine20,
See you on the 17th! Do you know what type of interview Soton does?

From the letter I got, it's just 20 minutes! But I hope it's a bit longer since I've spent a good amount of money to get there! Looks like you got things sorted with date; I think you'll like SOTON, all my English friends say it's an amazing uni and city. I'll probably be there the entire day, my friend is driving me from Reading. I will see you there!

    Anyone else still waiting?

I am getting kinda worried now...I've not even been acknowledged by SOTON yet, let alone any offers etc! I've been rejected from my four other choices so it all hangs on SOTON now....bad times. All my friends know where they're going and what they're doing - I wish I knew so I could start planning a Gap Year if so!

Has anyone else not heard anything yet? Is this generally a bad sign or still is there a possibility I could hear something?

@ Ashleeee: well, the most i got from the acknowlegment was a post card and an email saying i'd find out by february... still waiting for a decision! hang in there because i heard that they will continue making decisions until april... (but i'm not sure...) all we can do is hope! I too am planning something for the year before i reapply... maybe a masters, travelling or even helping out in the wide world as a volunteer for a charity ( not sure about which ones though... still in the early stages of planning...) but don't worry yet... i know all this waiting sucks and it's annoying.. i've been checking ucas like crazy every day!! but don't worry yet chin up and hope for the best!
