Does any one know about the medical exams in the first 2 years of BM5 course and when would be the first offical exam? Would it be before or after X'mas?
Thanks

A quick question (more to come most likeley =D):
Do medical students have the chance to carry out dissections on cadavers?

Hey Would any medics answer some questions for me. I would truly appreciate it.
I was wondering what the BM5 course style is like at Soton, is it Problem based Learning or lecture based?
How many international students do they take?
Thanks

I'm a current first year BM5.
We mainly have lectures, maybe 1/2 symposiums. Probably a tutorial and a post mortem once a week. 1 anatomy session and 1 histology session a week aswell.
So far we haven't done any PBL i don't think.
I think they take around 18 internationals, but don't quote me on that

Hey. I have an offer for southampton 5 yr and I live just around the corner in Portsmouth. I was wondering if any one does, or knows of any one who does drive to and from uni and whether any one has been able to find parking either at the main campus or at the hospital. Any help would be great. Many thanks.
