More Active Moderators?

Hello,

First I would like to say thank you for creating a place in which fellow Medicine applicants and students are able to talk and discuss not only applications to med school but also share views on other subjects.

However me and some of the other members feel as though there are not enough active moderators on this forum. There are certain members whose sole purpose is to annoy and berate fellow members. There are also an increasing amount of "bots" posting spam in various sections in the forum. I implore you to recruit some more moderators from the current community and inaugurate them into the forum.

As far as i have seen the spam comes in pretty big numbers and is generally cleared up by the mods asap - they are human after all.

However that said, if we're recruiting, i vote for me.

Thanks Singh.Simran! The sheer volume of people who spam this forum is moderated as fast and as best it can be. I can however understand why this thread was created. I can also understand why some forum members have issues with certain members who sole purpose is to belittle and annoy others. Let me assure you it's obvious who these members are! Can I also thank those of you who report such spammers to us as it helps us do our jobs more efficiently.
