if anything we should also be allowed gif avatars aswell like on thestudentroom. I pm'ed the an admin ages ago to do something about that and also a one or two other questions..didnt get a respinse either :/....further still my post count never EVER seemsto increase.......

Animated? Nah, it's distracting and most people will not be clever with it.
Also, posts in Dr's Mess don't count for the numbers
