Campaign to remove peskey orange advertisements!
I know they bring your site money and such but moderators could you please disabl;e the orange Flash advertisements. They completely prevent you from browsing the forum by continuously auto-scrolling down to themselves every 5 seconds, so I can't really use it properly at the moment!

Agreed, I thought my PC had a virus or something. Turns out it was the ad.

Possibly the most annoying form of internet advertising ever. I'm ok with pop-ups and pop-unders and most other forms of nastiness but it's done it twice just in the time it took me to write this post. Actually, three times.
Get rid of it, please?

I've PM'd "Admin" on this. In the meantime, I think I've discovered a temporary fix. As soon as the little orange bastard jumps up to bite you, type a letter in any of the fields, and it'll leave you alone.

Thank god it's not just my computer! The advert itself isn't irritating, but the auto-scrolling is.

I didn't realise there were any adverts on this forum.
Use Firefox instead of microsoft's internet explorer. If you install the Adblock Plus and Flashblock extensions, you will never see another advert.

a solution i've found is to download an add-on for firefox called Adblock plus
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1865
you can then select individual adverts u want blocked, and when removed or the advert fixed it can turned off and seen again.
