Forum Layout Suggestions
I'm in the process of changing the layout of the forums. Any suggestions and feedback can be posted here.
The idea is to better categorise the forums so new users can get to where they want to be without scrolling down for ages.
I'm also adding more international resources as this site gets a lot of international users who aren't really catered for at the moment.
Feel free to post any postive and negative comments here...

Sorry, I prefer the old layout, where i could quickly check which threads i visit have recent up-dates, rather than just seeing when the last 'medical school' up date was.
Although i think the overseas bit is a good addition.BSc Biological Sciences (Hons)

I think the "forum" page should fit only one screen. May be you can try to squeeze stuff so that everything on the forum is visually accessible as the page loads. As you said, instead of scrolling down endlessly, people should be able to see their choices and then decide where to proceed.

I'd like to point out the title images etc at the top of the page are broken in FireFox.
Here goes nothing...

I don't mind scrolling down.
It's not like we have much choice with all that bumf filling the top of our screens! Is NMM preparing for a float on the LSE or something, Chris? What's with all the branding?

Not quite ready for a float yet Cymro, NMM will be offering web design and animation services which means I need to advertise them I'm afraid. I'll work on getting things a bit less 'garish' though!

I think that when you click onto a thread, the size and location of the thread title bar make it very un-obvious what thread you're viewing. This was much clearer before layout-wise.

Any chance the Access to med section can be split between access courses? This would save time, not having to read other college threads!
