Can I suggest you add medical schools in the Republic of Ireland to the forums? I'm guessing they're a bigger draw for UK applicants than Oz or Canada.

LOL!, ROI section would be much more useful than the Oz or Canadian section.

The navigation part of the left column looks just awful at 1024 x 768.

Most of the right-hand column is pretty useless and forgettable. I'd recommend getting rid of it all, with the exception of the CP which should move to the left column. All navigation should be done in a horizontal menu below the header.

A glitch in the existing navigation bar means that users are "locked in" on some pages, severely impacting on site usability and degrading the user experience.

Thanks for the feedback. I've moved the User CP back over to the left and got rid of the right sidebar entirely.

Could you explain more what you mean by 'locked in' Cymro?

    Cheers,

    Chris

I just noticed that if you're on the Control Panel page (my bookmark for MSG) your navigation options are a bit limited with the disappearance of the horizontal navigation bar below the header. The only way to leave that page is to click on the breadcrumb or header, but this would be counter-intuitive for many users i.e. they're looking for proper navigation. It seems like a very trivial issue, but it's one that means that some users will leave the site rather than work around it. (In addition to me finding it slightly annoying).

Kudos for changing the layout. It looks much better now!
