You had a good enough UKCAT score to apply for Sheffield, then used your other three choices on a non-UKCAT University, and 2 others that hardly use the UKCAT in their selection process... That show's confidence in all areas of your application, that's for sure! =)

And for sigs, go to "My Messages" (click your user on the top right of the screen) and then on the left margin there are a load of options; one of them being 'Create/Edit a Sig'.

Mine came by email, guess it depends which boxes you selected on the UCAS form though? and maybe different unis are different

I've applied. I'm guessing Sheffield may not acknowledge applications as no one seems to have heard anything yet?

I'm naively hoping this will be my first and only application to medicine!

Unfortunately because we receive so many applications we do not send out acknowledgements to let you know that we have your application. Providing that you have been issued with a UCAS number after submitting your application to UCAS rest assured that we will have received your application in the office.
