The questions were fine and it was really relaxed. You are split into 2 groups. The further away you live the shorter you have to wait for your interview time.
They have your personal statement in front of them so make sure you know what's on it.
Use personal experience in every answer.
Try and be original- i.e. why you like the course- not what the people are took you for the tour tell you to say i.e. PBL, I said that and the consultant said 'oh everyone's said that today'- Whoops!
Enthusiasm! - I wasn't but I think it would have helped more.
My questions were,
Why the switch from Chemistry to medicine (I'm doing a degree)
Why Sheffield i.e the city (i talked about skiing and the mighty Blades)
What do you like most about the course? (Full body dissection, PBL, clinical experience from day 1 ect.)
Tell us about your gap year. (TEFL for a year)
Do you think hospices are depressing places to work (from work experience on PS)- of course they're not
What area of medicine do you think you'd like to go in? (I said GP- talked about my work experience i.e. liked meeting people, bonding with patients as they grow older etc.)
What are the bad sides to a career in medicine? (I said the hours were long and stressful especially as an F1/F2, again I said I saw this courtesy of a F2 doctor I shadowed)
What are the qualities of a good doctor(Leadership, Motivated, Communication, I explained why for each point on the basis of what I saw on work experience)
Tell us about a situation where you displayed these qualities. Talked about times with SJA, Air Cadets, Uni
Tell us about a situation where I had to be a leader (I put leadership in the above question) Talked about SJA
What do you do to relax? (Read, Judo)
Any questions? (No, the prospectus answered all my questions as did online forums and the students who showed us round were really helpful and knowledgeable)

Yeah I was a bit confused, the med students who showed us round told us it was traditional, but you get some PBL assignments alongside the lectures. On the website its 'systems based learning'.
Course Structure
You might want to get a more definite answer though.

Hi guys, just to put you at ease, the interviewers at sheffield are lovely!
You should make sure you know your personal statement well though because they will most likely have it in front of them and will want to pick out parts of it to ask you about (hobbies, work experience etc).
The course at Sheffield is integrated (well, thats what the med student told me) as it is mainly a traditional course, but there is some group work every week in the form of PBL (i.e. you are given a case to look at, diagnose, research). This is a really big selling point for their course along with dissection and early clinical experience.
Hope you do well!x

My tip:
Make sure you have a couple of patient anecdotes. If you've spent time on work experience, when you arrive home, write up a case report of two and memorise them for your interview.
And, no, Sheffield isn't PBL. It's mainly didactic with a two week theme running alongside (ILAs) which you discuss each fortnight with an F1 who knows little about the topic (e.g thinking asthma is a restrictive lung disease) and try despreately to learn from your peers (mixed results).
It's also systems based in the first couple of years (e.g. one GIT term, one CVR term) which I think is a great idea - you then drill down further in the later phases
