Hello
flipping hec everyone calm down. Interviews are easy peasy I can remember when I was at college and stressing out about interviews bu trust me its not worth it. I had an interview at sheffield university last year, it was my most laid back interview out of all the ones I had.
I had two interviews and they where both very nice. I think if you just be urself and relax (without being at all cocky) you will be fine.
They asked very few questions, just the standard ones. They didnt give me an ethical situation but anyone I met who did get asked about one said it was easy. They did ask me about recent medical news and I just talked about a article I had read on a new type of stent. I think as long as you read bbc news, are generally a nice and are not a cocky person your interview will go fine.
Just be yourself.

Seems silly to post that on a forum full of doctors.. surely they could just get their mate to prescribe it free on the NHS... just a thought :P

I'm not gonna disclose the questions because obviously thats grossly unfair to those which went earlier however, to put you at ease they are very nice, ask general questions, they aint there to catch you out. If you look through their pack they say the kind of things they look for at interview ie:
Knowledge of the course
Motivation for medicine
etc
Make sure you're clued up on that and i'm sure it'll go great
good luck.Nottingham Medic '09

Baggytrousers, dont be nervous, the interview is more of a general chat and theres nothing to catch you out, in the first post there are lots of questions you can look at which cover most things - other questions might be asking about things you have mentioned in your personal statment. your first question will most probably be why sheffield? make sure you know about the course and sheffield as a city and youll be fine!
