CRB - timing?

Dear all,

Any idea on how long it takes to turn this around? Looking forward to ticking everything off.

Med checks next... nice high HBV titre!

Hi

When I did my CRB for St John's Ambulance, it came back in about 3 weeks. I'm not sure if the Uni will send off all the forms to CRB after the deadline (wasnt it around end of this month?) or whether they'll send them off as they receive them.

How long did it take for the health check stuff to come through after your CRB form? I got the CRB form weeks and weeks ago, but am still waiting on the health forms.

How detailed are the health forms? Are they a total nightmare to fill in with pages of questions about every possible thing or are they fairly straightforward?

I have mine from last year here in front of me. Pretty basisc stuff: occupational history, Qs about illnesses and time off from work / school, the usual check list for bladder problems (more of an issue for we matures), hernias, infectious diseases, and that's about it. I send my HBV titre off separately: doesn't appear on this form.

That doesnt sound too bad - thanks for telling me about that. Am just a bit paranoid about forms at the moment - spent 3 full days working out all the figures and filling in my online student finance forms, only to have the whole thing disappear (long story) and be told I'd have to start again with the paper version. I think a 30 page health form landing on my doormat would just about have finished me off!!!
