Gen Inf on Adv Higher Projects Req...
Hi. I know it is really early to even think about advanced higher projects, but I want to have a clear picture before I go back to school. Bio, chem and physics have similar outlines I believe. What does this involve? Aim, procedure, results, evaluation? Would really appreciate if someone could clarify this
Also I read on another thread here that you have "multiple aims", what does that mean? Also are there any investigations related to medicine that I could do for bio, chem and physics? Is it entirely upto myself or do you get some assistance from teachers aswell? Do I myself find and use sources for my project, or is it to be out of a textbook? And finally are they HARD? I don't know how to put this, but are they like REALLY REALLY HARD? lolzzz

hi sara - much of what you have asked depends upon your school and even teachers - so i may not be abloe to help in those areas
i did AH chem and physics - and my expierence were very different for each
in chem we got quite a bit of help - and we were relly give a few select areas to study - which was both very helpful but yet limiting
physics we had more free reign - but yet that made it much more difficult - i think both my projects came out very diffferently - chem was about 30 pages and faily short - though i know i have doen fairly well in it
and physics was very very long - as with out the guidence i was rather over the top and did about the equivilent of 4 projects - and ended up with a 70 odd page book!
if u like u can PM me and i can send you a copy of each and answer specific questions you may have
and good luck for results - i have a conditional and i am freeking it !
and dont worry about B's they arent the worst thing that can happen - i still managed it - and i thikn more unis are looking at percentages (which was certianly good for me)

Hi everyone
I'm in the same position as sara7000, just starting 6th year to study advanced higher chamistry and biology. I've been thinking about subjects for investigations as I would like to do something medicine related. It would be great if anyone could tell me what they did as an investigation and what they thought of the whole process.
Thanks in advance.
