^ Did you do six highers in one sitting? Is the B3 a band 3?
can sum1 pls clarify this...what does an insurance, firm choice mean? wht if u accept a conditional in May and then fail to get the results, can you then accept the unconditional if you had one? Also can you appeal such cases if you fail to get the right grades? And what is the clearance process? thnx

Simple answer is no, you will not be at any disadvantage as long as you have met the entry requirements, i.e done a specified subject to the correct level for example some unis might want another language at higher.
But that aside it will make no real difference and you should just do whatever interests you.
And in reply to another one of your questions once you get all your answers back from the unis you get to pick one which is a firm and one which is insurance. You do not have to pick an insurance. If you fail to meet your grades for your firm, but meet the insurance offer then you will get a place in your insurance. Obviously your insurance offer should be lower than your firm but some people with equal offers select one as an insurance; don't really know why people do this, might just be in case they change their mind or believe there might be some leniency from either one of their unis.
And finally i am not sure what happens if you miss your condition but are appealing the subject which caused you to miss.Highers

I am really confused about what to do. I don't want to be put at a disadvantage by doing four advanced highers, all sciences. I am unsure whether I should drop one and take higher comp or philosophy, just to "show" I have other interests. extremely confused and worried
