Hey, I have posted this question several times on another thread, but thought I would ask my mates directly Any scottish candidates you may know of or are that applied to oxford/cambridge, what subjects they did (whether they got accepted or not), BMAT score (quite personal I know)...if not all even a part of this information will be great help. Hi there, its been a while since I was on here so forgive me if I'm a little rusty!

My friend applied to Oxford for 2008 entry and was rejected after interview. He had AAAAA at scottish highers and 1111111A (int 2) at standard grade. Highers were chem, maths, phys, history and english. He took higer bio in S6 and adv chem and history.

His UKCAT was around 670 average I think. He never told me his BMAT sorry!

He said the interview questions were insane! Like asking about differing pressures in blood vessels and really obscure things like farming patters accross 19th century europe! They held a 'fun' pub quiz one night, which all the interviewers came to watch apparently...

thnx alot, that is the first ever reply I have had regarding this inf although I have asked many times lolzzzz Yeah I have heard most people don't get through because of the vague questions at the interview. Thanks again, for some reason I was under the impression they only interview you if you do like 6 Highers

i know some one rejected from cambridge after interview and then another who is currently holding a condidional offer from oxford - PM if u like for the details - not sure if they want them here so privatly woudl prob b better
