Duff grades in Higher English
Did anyone else see the reviews in the press about Higher English. There was more on teletext last night supposidly they are "reviewing the course" too bloody late for me though. I got AAAAC at higher - the C being english, my school gave us the slant that it was compulsary to take it in S5 and I found out at xmas it wasn't. I was sure I was going to get a B though... anyone else disheartened by their english grade this year?

Don't worry, my school was the same. A good friend of mine is in exactly the same position, literally EXACTLY (you took the same subjects and got the same grades
). Hardly anyone got any appeals either which is sh*t. I wouldn't worry too much, Uni's will still look at you (Aberdeen, St Andrews and Dundee definately will anyway).
All you can do is sit back and wait anyway.
English is bollocks.2nd Year Aberdeen
