This hasn't actually be specified but I'm assuming you're applying for medicine. I'm not quite convinced by your posts that you really want to. Not everyone gets in first time (regardless of anything academic) and you seem quite happy to apply for back-ups which, sure, most people do but don't really want to. What would you apply for as a back-up, and why?

Experience is experience, although I'd have said a hospital/GP would be more appropriate. I also thought the point was to get in and do the dirty work...
