    processed application?

my referee sent my application on 11/10 and on "ucas apply" it says

Your application has been sent to UCAS and will be processed shortly. After it has been processed, you will be sent a welcome letter, which will show your application number. You can then log in to track the progress of your application using this number and the same username and password you used to apply.

but i have not recieved a welcome letter, does it come by e-mail? by post?
has this problem arised for others?
is it ok, will unis still recieve my application by oct 15?

Might take a couple of days for the letter, and yes it comes by post. If you're getting this message you don't have to worry about the deadline.

When you get the letter it allows you access to UCAS track, not that its much use but its been worked into my morning schedule now to have a wee check up, you never know might get a nice suprise some day!
