AAB at AH sounds fine to me. If you are so worried about Edinburgh write/email/call them to find out.

AAB at AH shouldnt be a problem but as copperfungus said, have a chat with the unis and see what they say!

These advanced higher predictions are amazing!! Don't worry about them at all!! I was predicted 3 Bs (which i didn't even reach, because I got very lazy, and did other things in 6th year) and managed to get three offers. I don't know what theunis policies are on adv. higher making up for highers though, sorry.

Sorry to bring up old thread but why are predicted AH grades happening this early? My school may be different but they don't do any till about April when they give them to sqa. Also with prelims not being till January/February will uni's bother about these when considering applications. Surely it will be based on higher results?
4th year @ Aberdeen..... although I will be doing a Bsc in September!

I really wouldn't worry about Adv. higher predictions! I think schools probably do them at all different times of the year - we pretty much chose our own last year. I don't think unis really look at them (the English ones might though), but if they really want some, they would probably contact you or your school - I'd imagine they'll just look at your highers though!!
Hope this helps!
Good Luck!!

Ack Erin you're damn good - getting 3 offers eh.
AH predictions... for Scottish Unis anyway I think is pretty insignificant. Got predicted 3 As and got 2 offers, worse still knew someone like that but with no offers so yup.

lol - luck!!
Ahh, not been on here in ages, very quiet!! And haven't seen you in a while Mr Chan aka Nigiri(?) - not spoken to you properly since our last raincheck at 7.20! Word of warning to anyone who goes to edinburgh: Do not leave your biochemistry essay to the night before its due in. Dire consequences will arise.medicine is hard
