On Friday 16 April 2010, the Catastrophes & Conflict Forum of the Royal Society of Medicine will be hosting "Medicine Overseas", a one-day event aimed at doctors in training and medical students with an interest in aid work abroad.

Featuring world-class speakers, this annual conference is a must for enthusiasts, young or old. Come along to find out more about education, training and preparation for work abroad, hear stories from some of the world’s wildest places and discover how to get involved yourself. There will also be time to explore the stands and find out more from the organisations present during extended breaks and drinks afterwards (food and booze included!)
