Maximum Amount willing to spend on accomadation

Does anyone know the average price of a shared room, self-catered, in close proximity to UCL. On the accomadtion form they want to know the maximum I am willing to spend a week. I can't really afford anything over £80, but am willing to stretch to £90 if it will get me a room near to UCL. I dont want to exclude myslef from any rooms, by putting the max too low. The accomodation booklet and website are not clear at all, just giving ranges. Thank you, lots of love from Bethy xxxxx

its in one of the booklets thingies....they put the range of prices for each halls...so u put down the maximum ur willing to spend for the halls u REALLY want..? hopefully u'll get the halls u want...
for John Dodgson, i put down i think £114.80 per week...cos thats the maximum in the range given in the lil booklet...

The maximum price for Astor is £150 because they offer single rooms as well as shared. For campbell house east and west (which seem really nice) The range is 60 - 95. I cant afford 95 but dont want to exclude myself from this housing. Beth xxx

I wanted Ramsay, so I put down the max amount put in the book for Ramsay, which was about £107 three years ago. You said that you couild stretch to £90, if this is the maximum that you can pay, then that it what you should put down on the form, select self catered, and make your preference "proximuty to UCL," and hope.

The thing is, £90 a week would leave me really struggling. If it was that or nothing, I would pay, but I dont want them to give me an expensive room just because I said I could afford it. I think I will ring up the admissions office tomorrow. Sorry if my situation is confusing, Bethy xxxx
