How important is a BSc when applying for US residency?
I am a 4th year Medical student in the UK and was wondering how important is a BSc in applying for US residency/ internships? I was thinking of intercalating a BSc but I dont know how much it would weigh on my application. To be honest I do not really want to take a year out to do the BSc but if it will help with my application then I guess its worth it?
thanks you so much for your responses...

Not important. U.S. residency programs will judge you on things they understand and things that are common to their own applicants. The USMLE.
