Interviews??

i was just wondering if any1 could help me with this. i no queens didn't interview until recently but when they say they interview the bottom 30%, do they mean of all the people that apply, or the bottom 30% after they've 'thrown out' all the applications that don't meet their requirements?

their website says that a small proportion of school leavers are interviewed. What I've gathered from talking with QUB students and lecturers is that no one really gets interviewed unless they have a query about your application. I've never heard that they interview the bottom 30% of people, unless this is something new but they didnt say this at the open day. As far as im concerned im fairly certain they wont interview unless they really need to

ok well if the bklt says it that must be right! aye prob is bottom 30% that have grades to get in get interviewed then. Must be the first year of doing it. Never got one of those at the open day coz i thot i had 1 but obviously theyve changed it! does this mean theyr not doing the whole adding on points to gcse thing? or is that aswell as this? i liked that gcse point idea, made my score higher!

last year queens added ukcat points to gcse points, so for every subtest that scored over 600 u got one point and for every subtest below 600 u lost a point. not sure if its still the same this year though
