i'm an Italian doctor and i need your help
hi everybody!
I'm an Italian doctor and I'll move in Brighton in March. From what I've been told my registration will be accepted as full registered at the GMC therefore I will start as FY2 student. I would like to know how it works, where can I apply, how many places they have and which hospitals will have more places available.
Also, in case I am not accepted for the FY2, I wonder if I can get some temporary position. for example in Italy a registered doctor can make substitution of GPs or alternatively work for emergency assistance (something like on-call doctors).
Would it be possible to do this in the Uk?
What would you recommend as first step? should I keep an eye on the nhs jobs website?
thank you very much for all the info you will give me

you can also work as an FY1. (the first year of the foundation program).
Just apply for those posts. Check nhs jobs website.
You can also do temp work, they usually give like a few months , these days it would be uptil august.
