FY1 App Q (South Thames Foundation School)

    Hi,

I am in the lower 3rd quartile of the FS I have been allocated to (Blue Group STFS). Pretty annoying as if I had put green group I would have been in the upper 2nd quartile but tis life!!! From your past experiences (any F1s/F2s), what is the chance that I will get a job in my top 50-100 choices (out of 261)? Everyone I spoke to said they got a job in their top 20 choices, even people who scored crappily....

    Cheers

I guess it might be difficult for people to say because they had to rank all 800+ jobs where as you rank a third?

Hello I am an Italian Doctor and on April I will move lo London.
I'm not yet in the speciality training so I hope to became an ENT doctor in U.k.
    BUT
I don't really understand how the medical career works in U.K.
Please can somebody help me? I need someone that tell me what I have to do with dinearies and hospitals and registrations and documents and anything else :-(((( :-(((
The only thing I am really sure is that I will begin the FY2 next year ( my GMC Registration in not a full registration )

EXCUSE ME FOR MY HORRIBLE ENGLISH ?!?!?!

    Another question:
Is the audiological medicine a speciality in U.K. or is it part of ENT? Because in Italy we have two different speciality training!!!

    thanx
