Getting your 1st choice job?
Hi,
My questions are to the recently qualified FY1s. I was wondering...after being allocated to your choice of deanery how many of you got your first choice or near first choice set of jobs? and with what score?
I was hoping to go into surgery post FY2 and would really like to apply for the 'surgery heavy' rotations (3 to 4 surgical posts over the 2 years). Would the score i would need completely depend on which foundation school i was applying?
Many thanks in advance and i hope the NHS monster hasnt been too horrible thus far!
